Hands-on Workshop
Depending on the number of applicants, we aim to limit each group to 5–6 participants.
The course includes skill stations with simulators, case-based small group discussions, Echopac measurement workshops, and practice sessions on pediatric and neonatal patients (subject to availability).
Programme and Faculty Disclaimer
The programme and list of lecturers are preliminary and subject to minor changes.
If a lecturer becomes unavailable, the organisers reserve the right to replace them with another suitably qualified speaker without prior notice.
Such adjustments will not entitle participants to a refund of the registration fee.
Registration Fees
The fees are stated in Swedish Krona (SEK) excluding Swedish VAT.
Check the latest currency exchange rates.
Coffee and lunch are included in the registration fee.
Please note that participation in the social program activities is optional and not included in the course fee.
VAT / Moms on Fees – Important Information
All prices on the website are listed in SEK and exclude 25% Swedish VAT.
There are various possible VAT exemptions — for example, for most non-EU participants, for EU participants who provide a valid institutional European VAT number, and for Swedish hospitals.
Please follow the respective registration link.
If the VAT number provided turns out to be incorrect, an additional 25% Swedish VAT will be charged.
Low-and lower-middle-income countries
Low- and lower-middle-income countries are defined by the World Bank and depend on the country in which the participant is employed and receives salary. Documentation may be requested.
Cancellation of Registration / Refunds
Registration is binding. Unfortunately, no refunds can be made for cancellations after March 1, 2026.
For cancellations that require a credit card refund, Mastercard/Visa card fees will be deducted.
It is possible to transfer your registration after April 1, 2026, to another member of your organisation for an administrative cost of SEK 250.
Please inform us in writing at pocus.gothenburg@mailbox.org as soon as possible with the name and details of the replacement participant.
We accept no liability for delegates who are unable to obtain a visa to enter Sweden.
Participants are responsible for checking current travel and visa regulations.
In the event of visa refusal or travel restrictions, we do not refund any travel, accommodation, or related costs.
Method of Payment
All payments must be made in Swedish Krona (SEK).
All bank transfer charges related to the payment of fees must be covered by the participant.
Personal, company, or Euro cheques are not accepted.
Payment can be made by the following methods

For Swedish participants only: credit card or invoice billing
All credit card payments are processed via a secure and encrypted online payment gateway.
Invoices must be paid within 30 days and no later than 14 days before the start of the conference.
Privacy Statement
We are committed to protecting your privacy. The information requested during registration is required to properly arrange the meeting logistics, access, and payment processing. Relevant information may be shared with our trusted partners (platform and industry) for the same purpose.Neither we nor our partners will share your information with third parties for unrelated purposes. We may retain your name and email address to inform you about future events, but you are always free to opt out. We cannot register your information without your approval. By confirming our cancellation policy and clicking “I accept the user agreement” during registration, you consent to the use of your information as described above. The course organiser and organising committee are joint data controllers for the processing of your personal data.
